We are Goldie®

Goldie® is a Registered Trademark of Fascinating Adventures Canada, a Not-for-profit Corporation, incorporated in Canada. 

Its main purpose is to promote the health and well-being of seniors. Through thoughtfully organized activities ranging from volunteering at foodbanks and hosting Sing-Along sessions at nursing homes to participating in group walks through nature trails and parks, Goldie® fosters

a strong sense of purpose, belongings and joy among its participants.

We believe in fundamental goodness in human spirit.  Our patrons strive to unite kindness, strengthen healthy social connections, learn new knowledge and inspire others around them to lead blissful and purposeful lives!

We are a volunteers-led and mostly volunteers-run group.  All our Goldie activities are driven and hosted by our volunteer leaders.

Our programs are designed to promote the health and well-being of seniors, particularly those who are vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation, as a result of being widows or widowers, living alone, suffering from chronic illnesses or experiencing financial hardships, etc.  Through recreational, outdoor, indoor, educational, fun or simple pleasurable activities, we encourage seniors to lead active, healthy and joyful social lives.

• We promote positive social connections among seniors; 
• We provide opportunities for seniors and subsidize them to learn new things and establish new hobbies (or revisit long-lost hobbies);
• We educate seniors about all aspect of life using the latest research findings or professional training; 
• We inspire seniors to "pay it forward" to help others, demonstrating to the society that seniors should be viewed as precious resources and treated with respect that they deserve.
