Past Events (Dine with Goldie)

Because of the snowstorm, we watched a movie at Goldie friend's home instead of going to a theater. 

Lunar New Year dinner is believed to be the most important meal of the year.  Although we did not have dinner as a group exactly on the first day of Lunar New Year, we gathered together to celebrate the tradition over special Chinese feast with multiple courses, which had symbolic meanings.  For example, we had steamed fish, which represented surplus in the new year, and noodles signified longevity.  The food was tasty.  We had a nice evening together.  Hope the year of the Rabbit will continue to bring peace, health and prosperity to everyone.
