Woodland Trail (1.5 km in 30 min) and Crawford Lake Trail (1 km in 20 min)
It’s the first week of November and we thought summer was really gone and the cold weather wouldn’t be too far away. Not quite so today. God gifted us a warm and sunny day to enhance our visit to Crawford Lake. The trail around the lake was particularly unique with a quaint wooden path built all around it. On The Woodland Trail, the entire ground was covered by fallen leaves so it felt like walking on a thick, luxurious carpet. The beauty of Nature, of course, is the main backdrop of it all.
We were lucky to have captured the twilight of our colourful foliage today.

The farm was born with the desire to provide a natural experience of bringing more beauty, love, and well-being into the world. We then visited Kelso Lake afterwards before heading back to Streetville for a delicious dinner at an Italian restaurant. A wonderful and healthy day with gorgeous scenary and fresh air!

Cirque du Solei was an incredible 100-minute show with a 25-minute intermission. Everything on the stage amazed us. The performers were talented and great in their stunts. The lights, costumes, live music and interactions with the audience were just unbelievably good. This was a must-see experience that nobody should miss. It was an amazing experience visiting the tulip farm during the blooming season. The farm was home to millions of tulips. We roamed through a colorful sea of the flowers. Each gorgeous row came with an eye-catching color, such as bright red, pink orange, golden yellow, royal purple, etc. The view was stunning. All the rows had signs that indicated the kinds of the displayed tulips and their features, which helped us understand more about the nature of the specific bloom. Before we left, we could pluck 10 tulips that were included in the price of the admission. We enjoyed the best bloom of the year and had a terrific day!

We had an enjoyable lunch in a nearby Italian restaurant, then we headed towards Kariya Park, a small Japanese garden where we could see cherry blossoms. It was a perfect spot for a short walk and to see the ducks and fish swim around the pond. After that we stopped by a Goldie friend's home for afternoon tea. We had nice chat over delicious pastries. At night we went to another Goldie friend's home for dinner in order to celebrate her birthday. It was a day full of fun and happiness!

After we had lunch together, we headed towards Edwards Gardens, where we spent our afternoon exploring nature while walking along its trail. During this time of the season, there were many blooming flowers in a variety of colors, making the gardens particularly appealing. We had a very relaxing walk. Prior to departure, we stopped by the gift shop, where we purchased some beautiful flower pots. Edwards Gardens is a wonderful place to walk around in.

We first met at The Chef's House, which is located in downtown Toronto and staffed by students from George Brown College, for lunch. Then we walked to St. Lawrence Market, a public market with two hundred vendors selling everything from homemade mustard to seafood. It was a great place to shop for grocery. After that, we stopped by a Goldie's friend's home for rest and chat, followed by a short walk in the neighborhood. We had a lovely afternoon together.

Immediately after our enjoyable lunch, we started our Seeing the Invisible journey via an app, which guided us around the exhibition and prompted us to view each artwork in its location. This walking experience began at Museum of Contemporary Art, which led us to Sorauren Park and ended in High Park. Throughout the journey, we were able to appreciate various international artists’ augmented reality work, such as Ai Weiwei, Jakob Kudsk Steensen, etc. This was a fun way to walk following the app and view all the interesting artwork!

Harry Potter and its series were never disappointing. The play, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child continued to give its audience joy and excitement. The stage setup, production and special effects were incredible. The story line and acting were also engaging, with lots of jokes throughout the play and a touching ending. Although it was somewhat lengthy, three and half hours in duration, we enjoyed every single moment of it. After the show, snowfall and ice pellets began. We had a quick late lunch together and rushed home.
